Handbuilt from a white stoneware clay slab, this square tray features my original illustrated design, painted with underglaze and finished with delicate mishima-carved details that bring each tiny house, flower, and heart to life. Soft washes of blues and greens create a dreamy backdrop—like a little world suspended in calm light.
Lovely Town is my love letter to my neighborhood. In the early days of the COVID-19 lockdown, I spent countless quiet hours walking through the streets near my home. Even though we were all scared and isolated, I was deeply moved by the small, hopeful gestures that began to appear everywhere: chalk messages on driveways, teddy bears in windows, birthday parades with handmade signs fluttering in the breeze. Those moments of kindness and connection inspired this series. With these pieces, I hope to carry that sense of warmth, optimism, and community forward into our shared world.

Glaze is food safe, ok to use in microwave or dishwasher. But to protect and maintain finish and surface decoration, hand washing is best.
