MacKenzie-Childs will host approximately 150 artisans, specializing in handmade, hand-crafted goods, from a wide range of unique disciplines, including ceramics, jewelry, textiles, fine art, and many more, at the farm and headquarters in Aurora, New York.

Historically ceramics has been used to build vessels for holding and drinking a variety of liquids, but there is more to a cup than meets the eye, more to its form than only its function. Cup Show 2022 will be a forum for personal expression and an individual’s interpretation of the ceramic cup. The function and concept of the drinking vessel including its relation to history, politics, craft, technology, utility, and narrative.

Broome County Arts Council’s 'Spring Awakening' opens on Fri, April 1st. This annual group exhibition is centered on works that celebrate vernal revival, renewal and rebirth. I am pleased to exhibit my watercolor painting "Please Water the Garden".

Celebrate Tioga Arts Council's 50th Anniversary at this year's Artfully Squared Exhibition fundraiser. Artists and creatives – of all mediums and all ages – have created and donated small 7” squares to TAC. All artworks will be exhibited in TAC’s Gallery during the entire month of April and each piece will be available for a $20 donation. There were no fees to enter and all proceeds will benefit the programs at Tioga Arts Council.

What the Wind Taught Me: An Exhibit of Visual Art & Poetry in Conversation will open on Friday, March 4, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Tioga Arts Council’s (TAC) gallery located at 179 Front St. in Owego. Ekphrastic poetry describes visual art; it’s a practice in Western culture at least as old as Homer’s description of Achilles’ shield in the Iliad. The dialogue between visual artists and poets has led to some of our greatest art.

Good Earth Pottery in Bellingham, WA hosts an annual juried cup show and this year I am pleased to have 3 of my cups included!
This is my favorite Holiday Tradition, and it's shaping up to be a great event this year! New location at the Coal House on the Rail Trail. All the usual favorites with some new surprises :) Come see me and my newest ceramic work 4-6pm!

Come out and see the talented artists of Broome County on Oct 2&3, 10am-4om each day. See website link for all the locations, I will be set up outside at the Coal House on the Rail Trail in Vestal. I'll be doing a demo all weekend, showing the painting and carving process I use to create the surface designs on my work.

Since its founding in 1993, Strictly Functional Pottery National (SFPN) has been recognized as one of the top ceramic exhibitions in the country. The first of its kind, SFPN provides an opportunity for functional pots to receive a much deserved spotlight. Every year, SFPN proudly features some of the most talented ceramic artists from across the United States. This year's exhibition features 151 pieces, juried by Robert Lugo, Margaret Kinkeade, and Brooks Oliver.

Material Mugs is Companion Gallery's annual material based cups show. This year they will again be featuring underglazes! Their hope is to exhibit cups which express the full range of surface possibilities- underglazes that are trailed, painted, sprayed, transferred, washed, globbed on, inlayed etc. Now in its sixth year, Material Mugs is one of the most anticipated juried ceramics exhibitions by makers and collectors alike. I am thrilled that 2 of my mugs will be a part of this exciting show!

Our model aims to promote exceptional art in a unique and inviting venue, while supporting a unique Tioga Arts Council (TAC) program, Art a la Carte. This is a very special regional art show, and I'm so happy to be a part of it.

“CHEERS! Drink Up”! A Juried Exhibition and Sale Celebrating the Clay Drinking Vessel. Cheers! will take place at the height of the tourist season in Manitou Springs, Colorado, a popular vacation destination in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Ceramic artist Lorna Meaden will jury entries into the show and select the award-winning drinking vessels.

Historically ceramics has been used as a canvas for botanical images and forms bringing the essence of the cultivated garden into the home. Botanical Abundance will be a lush landscape of ceramic art inspired by any and all vegetation.

Hand to Mouth is a national juried exhibition of finely crafted and artistic drinking vessels that showcases a variety of styles, techniques and firing methods used in contemporary ceramics. When focusing on an everyday object such as a cup, the artist’s hand and eye can elevate the most common and mundane routine of drinking into and uplifting experience. Join us to view the wide range of interpretations created to honor this simple, basic form.
