Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival is a free outdoor festival that draws 10-12,000 people to East and West Parks of downtown Norwich, NY, each year on the weekend after Labor Day, with its juried art and fine crafts for sale in an interactive atmosphere, acoustic music by professional singer-songwriters, literary arts, creative culinary arts, and hands-on art experiences for all ages. Admission and all activities are entirely FREE of charge. Rain or shine.

The Crafts Alliance presents two Fine Craft Shows at the Chautauqua Institution. These intimate shows feature the work of award-winning artists from across the United States, in the beautiful setting around Bestor Plaza. Contemporary fine crafts media are fully represented with unique objects in a wide range of prices. I am thrilled to be participating for the first time, I will be at the July show!

My 'Strawberry Field' ceramic collection along with 8 framed original watercolor paintings will be on display at Experience Tioga Tourism office in Owego for the summer. Thank you to Tioga Arts Council and Experience Tioga for the opportunity to share my work! It’s exciting for me to display all these pieces I’ve been working on all winter and get them out in the world.

SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show was the first large scale cup show that Savannah, GA, has ever seen. SIP was Savannah Clay Community’s inaugural exhibition featuring over 100 functional ceramic mugs, yunomi, pour-overs and more from clay artists from Savannah and across the country. Proceeds from the exhibition benefit each individual artist, and a percentage of all cup sales is be donated to the Emmaus House to help provide nourishment for the hungry in Savannah.

My 'Orange Love'Fruit Bowl was selected to be exhibited at DelecTABLE 2023 in Denver, CO! A juried exhibit dedicated to the presentation of functional ceramics, focusing on the fine art of dining, including serving vessels, place settings, platters, and dinner table décor. Proceeds from the sale of work, and associated events that will showcase the work, will benefit the Art Students League of Denver and its ceramics program.

On View: 01/06/23 – 1/27/23 Artisan Gallery’s annual Members’ Show will be on view in the Art Path Gallery January 6th through January 27th, with an opening reception on First Friday, January 6th from 6-9 PM during our Grand Opening. The Members’ Show includes fine art from members of Broome County Arts Council.

Historically ceramics has been used to build vessels for holding and drinking a variety of liquids, but there is more to a cup than meets the eye, more to its form than only its function. Cup Show 2022 will be a forum for personal expression and an individual’s interpretation of the ceramic cup. The function and concept of the drinking vessel including its relation to history, politics, craft, technology, utility, and narrative.

Broome County Arts Council’s 'Spring Awakening' opens on Fri, April 1st. This annual group exhibition is centered on works that celebrate vernal revival, renewal and rebirth. I am pleased to exhibit my watercolor painting "Please Water the Garden".

Celebrate Tioga Arts Council's 50th Anniversary at this year's Artfully Squared Exhibition fundraiser. Artists and creatives – of all mediums and all ages – have created and donated small 7” squares to TAC. All artworks will be exhibited in TAC’s Gallery during the entire month of April and each piece will be available for a $20 donation. There were no fees to enter and all proceeds will benefit the programs at Tioga Arts Council.

What the Wind Taught Me: An Exhibit of Visual Art & Poetry in Conversation will open on Friday, March 4, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Tioga Arts Council’s (TAC) gallery located at 179 Front St. in Owego. Ekphrastic poetry describes visual art; it’s a practice in Western culture at least as old as Homer’s description of Achilles’ shield in the Iliad. The dialogue between visual artists and poets has led to some of our greatest art.

Come out and see the talented artists of Broome County on Oct 2&3, 10am-4om each day. See website link for all the locations, I will be set up outside at the Coal House on the Rail Trail in Vestal. I'll be doing a demo all weekend, showing the painting and carving process I use to create the surface designs on my work.

Since its founding in 1993, Strictly Functional Pottery National (SFPN) has been recognized as one of the top ceramic exhibitions in the country. The first of its kind, SFPN provides an opportunity for functional pots to receive a much deserved spotlight. Every year, SFPN proudly features some of the most talented ceramic artists from across the United States. This year's exhibition features 151 pieces, juried by Robert Lugo, Margaret Kinkeade, and Brooks Oliver.
