Strawberry Field Mug: handmade with white stoneware clay, thrown on pottery wheel. Original design painted with underglaze, finished with slip trailed outlines and delicate hand carved details (mishima technique).
One of my local towns hosts a Strawberry Festival every year and it inspired me to create this strawberry pattern design and collection of ceramic pieces. I love the imperfect shape of these berries and the detail carved into each leaf.
This mug is approximately 3.5”tall x 3.5"wide and holds 12 oz of your favorite beverage.
Glaze is food safe, ok to use in microwave or dishwasher. But to protect and maintain finish and surface decoration, hand washing is best.
This listing is for one mug. The photos of the item are an example of what you will receive, but will likely not be a photo of the exact item. While I strive for consistency from each kiln load, I do appreciate the slight variations in handmade pieces and only list products that I am proud to present as my best work.
