Rabbit Mug: handmade with white stoneware clay, thrown on pottery wheel. Original design painted with underglaze with slip-trailed details.
I've been exploring this Rabbit design as a series, which started with the painting on the top of the last photo. I'm drawn to the idea of this very patient Rabbit, taking his time to study and appreciate the world around him as it grows and changes.
This mug is approximately 3.5” tall x 3.5” wide and holds 12oz of liquid
The photos of the item are an example of what you will receive, but will likely not be a photo of the exact item. I create the mugs in small batches and while I strive for consistency from each kiln load, I do appreciate the slight variations in handmade pieces and only list products that I am proud to present as my best work.
Glaze is food safe, ok to use in microwave or dishwasher. But to protect and maintain finish and surface decoration, hand washing is best.
If you are in the Binghamton NY area and would like to arrange a local pickup, please mention that in the messages to seller and I will refund your shipping cost. Thanks!
This work is part of my July 2025 Exhibition "A Joyful Conversation in Color & Clay" and will be shipped immediately following the close of the show, by August 8, 2025.
