Trailside Mug #6, Yellow Flowers and Tulips Shiny Finish Mug: handmade with white stoneware clay, thrown on pottery wheel. The surface decoration is my Original Design, painted with underglaze then hand carved with a sgraffito technique.

the 'Trailside Collection' is a brand new group of ceramic work and watercolor paintings inspired by the fleeting beauty that graces the trails I explore on mountain bike rides in the woods of my hometown in the Southern Tier of New York State and Northeast Vermont's Kingdom Trails. I often pause to take photos along the path, wishing I could capture the sense of freedom I feel on my bike in the woods and the wild wonders that bloom and fade trailside and in the distance.

This mug is approximately 3.5”tall x 3.5"wide and holds 12 oz of your favorite beverage. The exterior glaze is a shiny clear finish and the interior liner glaze is a shiny cream color.

Glaze is food safe, ok to use in microwave or dishwasher. But to protect and maintain finish and surface decoration, hand washing is best.
