Meet the Artist

Taking a few days to organize a shop re-stock with new work, re-opening Monday June 17!
I am a ceramic artist and watercolor painter in Upstate New York. I received my BFA from Syracuse University School of Art and worked as a freelance surface pattern designer, changing my primary focus to clay in 2019.  I create illustrated ceramic pieces with imagery that celebrates my love of color and pattern. This marriage of form and surface is where I found my voice as an artist. I hope the viewer gets a sense of my presence in the work and the time and love I pour into each piece. I create art with the intention that my work brings the user a joyful everyday experience, creating a deeper and more meaningful connection to that day and that moment.
My work is available locally in several art gallery retail shops:
Black Cat Gallery: 214 Front Street in the historic shopping district of Owego, NY
Artisan Gallery: 223 State Street Binghamton in the Broome County Arts Council's new building in the downtown arts district.

I love being a part of a creative community and meeting artists in my area. I find it so helpful for my creative practice to make these kind of connections. Artists need each other to thrive & grow! This year I am working with the Tioga Arts Council to curate and host a series of 6 Professional Development Events for Creatives called the Creative Symposium Series.
I do exhibit my work at a few in-person events and juried arts festivals every year, check the 'Events' page for details about upcoming shows!
