Handmade Ceramic Vase, Lovely Town hand carved community inspired fine art

Lovely Town Vase: handmade with white stoneware clay, thrown on pottery wheel and altered. Original design drawn on pot and painted with underglaze with carved details.

Lovely Town is love letter to my neighborhood. In the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown, I took many walks through my neighborhood and was moved by the wonderful things I experienced. Optimistic messages written on driveways, teddy bears in windows, birthday parades with handmade signs. We were all quarantined & scared, but the mood felt hopeful. Through my work I am inspired to spread positivity into our shared world, and have created a whole series of ceramic pieces and paintings with this imagery.

This vase is approximately 6.75” tall x 3” wide x 5” deep.

Glaze is food safe, ok to use in microwave or dishwasher. But to protect and maintain finish and surface decoration, hand washing is best.
